There are plenty of winter jackets available in markets. And there are different prices for different styles of jackets. It's all on you what types of jackets you prefer. Basically, the price of jackets depends on what purpose it is designed for. If you looking for indoor use you can go with lightweight down jackets or Primaloft jackets or fleece jackets, But if you go out regularly during the winter you might need a little thicker or warmer jacket. To be honest, indoor jackets are much cheaper than outdoor jackets. But it depends on where do you buy from too. If you go to non-branded stores you will get indoor jackets for 1000 NPR but you have to bargain for the price as most of the shops start with high prices. At the same time if you go to genuine stores you cant bargain for the price but I am sure that you will get better quality products. For outdoor activities like wearing while riding a bike or walking up to high altitude, you need a jacket that blocks the wind and water with insulation like Primaloft jackets, Down jackets for fleece lined Goretex jackets. And the price for those jackets starts from 2000 but the same here too you have to bargain for the price as they start charging you 2 times more.

But if you go to the authorized brand local store you might get genuine jackets for 3000-6000, where you get good quality but you can't bargain for the price.

Here are some winter jackets that you can buy for this winter.

DOWN JACKETS

Down jacket basically comes in different styles and colors. And it comes in around 300-600 grams. Basically, the down-filled jacket feels very soft and it is good quality If it can be compressed into small bags and has YKK zippers and sliders. Down jackets are designed for cold weather and high altitude. If you have to go to the mountains and have to walk a lot outsides during the winter, this might be the best option for you. The price of down jackets starts from 2500 NPR  which is called ultralight and if you need a little thicker it costs around 5000NPR                             





PRIMALOFT JACKETS

Primaloft jackets are called down alternative as it gives warm as down gives. And for some reason, it is better than down-insulated jackets. It gets dry quicker than down and all the filling gets stable even after washing. It is also can be compressed into tiny bags. If you don't have to walk early morning PrimaLoft jackets are the best match for you. But with some waterproof and windproof Gore-Tex jackets you can wear them in high altitudes too. It comes in different thicknesses from 80gsm to 200gsm. And if it has YKK zippers and sliders it costs from 2500NPR to 4000NPR.                                                                                                                  

                                                            
                         




SYNTHETIC INSULATED JACKETS

Synthetic insulated jackets also called SILICON jackets in Nepal.  To be honest we do not suggest this product as it gives you more heat than natural warmth. The filling of the jackets moved on the sides after washing it and doesn't give warmth after washing 2-3 times. But it costs comparatively cheaper than any other jacket. Prices start from 1500 NPR for SILICON jackets.
